Volvo Trucks highlights new 2017 powertrain in Truck World 2016 lineup
Volvo Trucks North America’s new 2017 powertrain will take the spotlight at Truck World 2016 April 14-16 at the International Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Featuring several innovations to boost fuel efficiency and productivity, Volvo’s new powertrain was engineered to provide customers best-in-class performance and an improved total cost of ownership.
Volvo will display four trucks in booth No. 1047 during the show. All four models will feature Volvo’s integrated powertrain, which combines a Volvo proprietary engine and Volvo’s I-Shift automated manual transmission. Each truck also comes standard with Remote Diagnostics, Volvo’s telematics-based proactive diagnostics and repair planning system that’s proven to improve uptime by up to one day per event.
